Biggest Journey 2013

The route is now pretty much sorted and I’m finalising a few details to secure the costs before getting registration open. I don’t want to give anything away regarding the route, but rest assured, it’ll be through some stunning scenery, with a few nice surprises on the way. Total distance looks around 450 miles, over [...]

So, you’ll find me, in the above [...]

Possible dates for Biggest Journey 2013, Celtic Capitals Challenge

Biggest Journey 2013, Cycling, Featured, Planning

I have a couple of date options for the Celtic Capitals Challenge. Though I hoped for the end of June, that’s not possible for various reasons. Of the dates below, the mid July date may work best as it gives a little more time to organise and is in the school holidays, which I know [...]

With physical exercise being so hugely beneficial for everyone's mental health it's particularly fitting that Stuart has is testing his body to its limits to raise vital funds for us. Every penny that he raises will help us to continue to provide information and support, as well as campaigning for change to make sure that anyone experiencing a mental health gets the respect they deserve.

#ff @biggestjourney for being a great inspiration and really working towards eliminating stigma around mental health
Can't believe so many people suffer mental illness. Shouldn't be kept quiet - they deserve help without stigma. Good on you

Stuart Potter's amazing "biggest journey" will see him cycling from Edinburgh to London in only 4 days, riding over 100 miles per day, and doing much to raise an awareness of the benefits of exercise in promoting mental wellbeing. He is also well on course to raise a considerable sum for MIND. We recognise that cycling is a fantastic way of getting fit, but this challenge is something else, and I'll be following his progress avidly.
